QUESTION:
If you had a choice, would you wish that your passion in life turned out to be something other than acting? And, would you follow your dream if it changed from acting in the future?
I will share my answer after a few others step up.
I would like to do this so that new and or green actors can see the thoughts of "veterans. Tell us about career and or following your passion? Actors should always know clearly what drives their career? WHY are you doing this?

ReplyDeleteI don't think Ive ever asked myself that question.But it's certainly an interesting one. I actually think I was given that choice before coming down here to the planet. I remember I was sitting on a cloud... Somebody said... these are your options and I chose carefully. I wanted to inspire people, tell stories, be sexy be gross, be vile and loving, I wanted be passionate about life as well as a career. I never wanted to stop learning and growing, I wanted to involve myself with creative passionate people that bettered the world. I wanted to show people a mirror into their lives by playing different characters. I wanted to to taste enlightenment in doses... I wanted to know hunger and feel hungry but never starve. I wanted to want something so badly it hurt in the depths of my being and that pain would carry me into dreams that become tangible... a thought becoming reality... I wanted to love everything and everyone so much there was really only this for me. As i saw it... up there... I really do this, and only we can understand this,... I do it because it's the only thing I can do that takes from me more than I get... I give more this way than I will ever get in return. And that for me is life...I've l;earned to be open to whatever... I've branched out now into directing and producing... however I can tell the story... acting always! Would I follow another dream if it meant the same as this... sure. The most important thing is the journey for sure... take on EACH PROJECT and make it the best... not for vanities sake... but because you have to teach, educuate, hold up a mirror, and be willing to stand at the front lines and be willing to lose everything and leave everything behind.
