Dean West
Acting Coach

Dean West grew up in Moss Bluff, a small town just outside of Lake Charles, Louisiana, where he graduated from Sam Houston High School. His passion for the entertainment industry started at a very young age. He started writing, producing, and acting in small plays at his church, where he developed an even larger love for entertainment.

In the course of his education, Dean was also taking frequent trips to Texas, where he began his acting, modeling, and commercial career. With a taste of success and eager to continue making progress toward his career, he moved to Los Angeles, where his modeling landed him working for many top designers and magazines, such as Blackbook, Nylon, and Men's Health. While living in Los Angeles, Dean also began studying with renowned acting coach, Aaron Speiser, named "2009 Best Scene Study Coach" by Backstage West. Dean studied under Aaron during his seven years in California from his beginner class through his master class.

Dean's film career has had him on shows such as 7th Heaven, CSI New York, How I Met Your Mother, Scrubs, and Young & The Restless. He has been the lead in many independent feature films such as Sunset Junction, Cooper Pass, and Skyler to name a few. He also landed part in over 10 projects this year alone.  Beauty and the Briefcase, starring Hillary Duff, as well as The Ledge starring Terrence Howard, Liv Tyler, Charlie Hunnam, and Chris Gorham, which also made into SUNDANCE  this year. Love, Wedding Marriage staring Mandy Moore and Kellen Luttz, The Killing Game, Never Back Down 2, and the list goes on.
