Decisions are made immediately in the mind when you're reading the script.  Some of those instincts are right on and some may be off.  Never be afraid to change ANYthing when it comes to a character at any point in your process.  You may learn something late that makes more since for you.  However, when it comes time to work have a clear firm choice.  The power is in the details.  Don't leave questions in your mind when it comes time to live.  Let your mind have its eye on a prize,  you should never have to bother it with things like, "how do I say this line" or "where do I move?"
