Content VS Intent

As an actor you must listen with every sense.  Hear, smell, taste, touch, and see.  The content of a word can not be as important as the intent of the word.  The way the word is said, the way the body moves when you tell me what your thinking.  Are you being honest, sexual, hateful?  Does the way your the other person spoke to you give you a bad taste in your mouth?  Observation and listening has got to be your highest priority.  If you act, or pretend that you are listening and watching then you are pretending to act.  Pretending to act, is called BAD ACTING..-DW
