A few quotes from workshop students...
I had such a great experience in Dean West's audition workshop. He uses his experience as a knowledgeable and successful actor to guide you in your approach to the sometimes overwhelming experience that is 'The Audition'. Dean's tips on how to format your resume to best showcase your skills and experience are invaluable. He is amazing! I can't wait to attend another workshop!~Ashley Lenz
Dean's audition class was awesome. I highly recommend it to any actors who are looking to get effective practical training for the audition process. Dean and Michelle's feedback on headshots and resumes were incredibly useful. This kind of workshopping was not only great in providing tools for cold-reading and future auditions, but it also gave me a list of immediate actions I could take to improve my business package and professional image right away.~Jennie Elise Kamin
I loved, loved, LOVED last weeks class - I feel like it was very beneficially both for me and especially for the students who are really new and are still looking for representation. I would absolutely recommend it for other actors and would definitely be interested in doing it again myself.~ Claire Garrett
I really enjoyed the on-camera audition class. since I have never been to a real audition, this was a great way to get experience. being able to watch the audition video let me see what I look like to casting directors. the resume and headshot overview is something that I always needed and I would recommend this workshop to any actor; new or experienced.~ Alex Boutte
The class was very helpful. I loved the fact that we treated it like a real audition because we don't get any feedback from our auditions we go out on, so Dean evaluating each of our scenes and pointing out the habits or the motions that are distracting to the audience, helps us make our craft even stronger. Even going over the resumes and head shots was educational as well to enhance those better, so we can show the casting directors and directors that we are professional and take this job very seriously. So yea Dean, should definitely do a workshop and I be happy to recommend him for you guys. Thanks for all y'all's help with everything trying to make my dream a reality, I really appreciate you guys!~ Russell Giacontiere
