Trash Day

It can be any day of the week ending in Y.  Or any day you have a drink.  Your choice.  As actors we use our whole life for our work.  Our at least we have to have free reign to do so.  That does not mean we have to live with all of our pains and sufferings on us all the time.  That is just way to much weight to carry.  We have to be able to use our body as a vessel and let go of our worst days and problems.  If you get to set and you are doing a upbeat comedy scene then you get a call that your sister had a miscarriage.  Not going to be an easy day.  Find triggers to use to bring things back up when you need them.  Also find triggers to just let go.  I find that if I can take a second and breath for a few minutes and just focus on my breath and nothing else then I can take over my brain and it is no longer in the hands of my ego.  I can relax and let go of all my worries and step into whatever kind of day I choose.  So have a trash day to let go of all of those worries, you can treat it as an inventory day also and store those pains and memories away so that you can have access to them whenever you would like.

Human Trash day-
One thing my coach (#aaronspieser) always said is, "There will be a time that you need to fire people."  This isn't an easy industry and climbing the latter is tuff.  It is hard enough to have so many people trying to climb one later, but imagine doing it with a few nay sayers clipped onto your belt.  A few people that won't let you grow unless you pull them along with you.  If someone is not helping you go forward then they are either pulling you backwards or holding you stagnant.  They are either the people that need you to do something with them or they can't do it, or they are constantly telling you that you can't do something or you are not going to make it.  Drop the weight!  Don't make it harder than it needs to be.  Find a support group of positive people to push you up!
